Founded by Lupita T. in 2025, HECHO HOY Designs began as a quiet dream—one that waited patiently for the right moment to bloom. Rooted in perseverance, family, and creative passion, our brand grew from love and intention into something vibrant, authentic, and full of heart. Today, HECHO HOY Designs reflects a journey of resilience and purpose, offering apparel that speaks to heritage, presence, and emotional truth. 

HECHO HOY Designs was born from a spirit of love, resilience, and quiet strength. I come from a humble rural family—people who gave everything so their children could have a better future. Their endurance and unwavering spirit taught me to be grateful, to be generous, and to believe that hope never dies.

I grew up in a small town surrounded by dusty roads, open fields, and the scent of warm meals made from scratch. Joy often felt distant, especially when life pulled our loved ones far away. My parents worked from dawn until deep into the night—planting dreams between rows of soil, fueled by heart and the hope of something better. We didn’t have much, but what we had was love, pride in our roots, and a powerful drive to keep going.

There was a cactus in the backyard of our home—always silent, always strong. It grew steadily through heat and drought, a quiet companion that stood by us no matter what. I would sit near it, counting the days, holding onto hope and longing for my mother’s return—to see her face, feel her embrace, and remember that love always finds its way back. That cactus became more than a plant—it became a symbol of the strength we carry inside: of endurance, and of quiet beauty that survives even when the world feels heavy.
